Life Changing Decision...
I need some advice on what could be a life changing decision.
I've suspected for some time now that my girlfriend has been having an affair. The usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. She started going out 'with the girls' a lot recently although when I ask which girls it is always "Just some friends from work, you don't know them". I always look out for her taxi coming home but she always walks down the drive although I can hear a car setting off. As if she has got out of the car round the corner. Why? Is it not a taxi? I once picked her mobile up just to see what time it was and she went beserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.
Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my g/f. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth but last night she went out again and I decided to check on her. I decided I was going to hide behind my car which would give me a view of the whole street so I could see which car she gets out of. It was whilst crouched behind my car that I noticed rust around my rear wheel arch.
Should I take it into a body repair shop or should I buy some stuff from the local auto shop and try to repair it myself?

Backup and storage

I don't know about you guys, but I do backup all my photo files through the years, but I find my older external HD is running out of space. So I bought a new imation 2.5" 1TB external HD yesterday, and I have all my photo files (over 230 Gb worth) from way back in 2004 to present backed up again. I feel so much better now.

Updating my gallery

I recently got a hold of Adobe's LightRoom 3, and am in the process of slowly re-editing most, if not all, of my old photos here on DA. The main thing I am going to focus on is color correction, which used to be one of my weaker areas. Stay tuned and feel free to comment on those revised versions. Those revised ones all have a watermark in the lower right corner.

No Birthday Party This Year...

My birthday is on the 11th of January, but I think I won't be having my usual birthday party this year. You see, my wife wants to throw me (figuratively) a BBQ party like she did last year and invite all my friends and some foes, but no ex's (damn). Well, maybe I am being too philosophical for my own good, but I will turn 36. At this advance age, death can come for me at any moment; and I just know I won't know what my friends would do when I die. So I suggested along with the birthday party, I want a preview of my memorial service; sort of like a rehearsal if you will. Hey, seriously now, I know I won't be attending it "in person", so I might as well get a good look at what might happen and make sure it will go smoothly and as close to the way I wanted it happen as possible. After all, it is MY memorial service! Oh well, my wife doesn't see this matter the same way I do... so chances are I won't have my party this year...

HKG > London > Hannover
I will be on a business trip to London on the 13th thru 15th, then onto Hannover between 15th and 19th. I am wondering if any DAers will be in those areas? I would love to have a guide to show me around when I am in town. Please note me. Cheers.
